The swimming lessons are held at the Spratt Park Pool. Class times are arranged by age. Abilities will be tested on the first day of the session and the learners put into classes according to ability levels. New this year: Parent and Me Lessons and Adult Swim Lessons. Our preschool swim lessons (ages 3-5) are now Parent and Me Lessons. Parents are REQUIRED to participate in the lesson with your child. The emphasis is teaching the parent to teach their child. The Adult Swim Lessons are for 13+. The emphasis for non-swimmers will be to build comfort and confidence in the water that will allow a strengthening of swimming skills. For those who already swim, the emphasis will be on refining their strokes to make swimming a pleasure, not a chore. Classes run rain or shine, there are NO makeup classes available.
