About the Trail
- The Wappinger Greenway Trail, 10.7 miles long, connects parks and public spaces along the mouth of the Wappinger Creek in the Town of Poughkeepsie, the Town of Wappinger and the Village of Wappingers Falls. It is a designated section of the Hudson Valley Greenway Trail.
- Among the areas that it connects are the New Hamburg Park, the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, Bowdoin County Park, and Reese Park.
- Plans are underway to connect it to the New Hamburg Train Station.
