Vassar Farm & Ecological Preserve

  • This 500 acre property was used by Vassar College for a farming operation to supply food for the Vassar Campus. It ceased that operation in 1976.
  • It is now the Vassar Farm & Ecological Preserve, a valuable ecological and educational resource to the community. The preserve is the site of field research about local environmental issues. It is also a perfect place to observe wildlife, run and hike. There are several miles of marked trails on the property open to the public during daylight hours.
